WELCOMING THE DELEGATION FROM NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY TO VNUHCM-UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE

On 11th February, VNUHCM-麻豆传媒 hosted a meeting with the delegation from North Carolina State University (NCSU).

The event took place in a positive atmosphere of cooperation, aimed at strengthening and expanding the relationship between the two leading universities, as well as promoting high-quality research and teaching activities.

, led by Dr. Lewis Owen, Dean of the College of Science, included Dr. Paul Liu, Director of International Affairs, College of Science; Assoc. Prof. Kathryn Boys from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics; and Assoc. Prof. Khai Nguyen from the Department of Mathematics. The group engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the potential for collaboration between the two institutions.

From VNUHCM-麻豆传媒, Assoc. Prof. Tr岷 Minh Tri岷縯, Vice President, was present alongside Dr. V玫 H峄搉g H岷, Deputy Head of the Office of External Relations; Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 Tuy岷縯 Ph瓢啤ng, Head of the Graduate Studies Office and Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science; as well as representatives from the Faculties of Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics and Engineering Physics, and other specialised departments. Together, they created an engaging and productive discussion space.

During the meeting, participants exchanged information about the activities of both institutions, shared their achievements, and discussed opportunities for future research and educational collaboration. Notably, group discussions tailored to specific departments allowed faculty and researchers to share ideas and experiences, thereby strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation.

Dr. Paul Liu – Director of International Affairs, College of Science (NCSU) presents an overview of the activities that have taken place and the upcoming development plans of NCSU.

The event not only confirmed the strong commitment of both universities to improving the quality of education and research, but also opened up numerous international collaboration opportunities for faculty members and students. The group discussions laid the foundation for future joint projects, contributing to the development of international cooperation and presenting promising prospects for further collaboration.
