On 22nd and 24th June, a Graduation Ceremony was held at the VNUHCM-�鶹��ý for 551 students who had attained Doctoral and Master’s degrees. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the students who graduated in 2021 and 2022 were honoured at the same time.

As a representative of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan, President of the University, shared the challenges faced by both lecturers and students over the two years due to the pandemic, which had hindered the timely completion of their courses. He also congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and expressed optimism for their futures. “From this point on, you are scientists, and we are colleagues. Please maintain contact to nurture this wonderful relationship through the activities of the Alumni Community. I wish you all happiness, success, and advancement in opportunities. I hope you will all bring glory to our Home – the �鶹��ý,” stated Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan.

The new Dr. Võ Quốc Khương, representing the other new Doctors and Masters, expressed his emotions and pride in having studied at the �鶹��ý. “I promise to continue my studies, to research, and to expand my professional knowledge; I will apply our intellect creatively in our respective roles and pass on the flame of passion for science to the students – the next generation – so that they can contribute their efforts and wisdom to the construction and development of the country,” said Mr. Khương.

During the ceremony, a representative from the University conveyed greetings and presented flowers of gratitude to the instructors who had supported the students in achieving their success. Appreciation was also shown to the partners who had contributed to enhancing the quality of the programmes.

The current scale of postgraduate training at the �鶹��ý encompasses 34 master’s disciplines, with 1,276 Master’s students, and 29 doctoral disciplines, comprising 201 Doctoral students. Student support activities have consistently been a priority of the University to ensure the most conducive learning environment for all. Numerous scholarships have been maintained and awarded to learners annually; these include the Pony Chung Scholarship, the Vallet Scholarship, the Scholarship programme for Domestic Master’s and Doctoral Training of Vingroup Innovation Fund (VINIF), and Postgraduate Scholarships of VNUHCM, among others.
